The Tiffen Variable ND being 67mm on the outside thread allows for a bigger diameter than the lenses 58mm for additional filter hot mirror and lens shade.

The GH3 is already a great camera! Built in mic amplifier also is of decent quality, but headphone output has a lot of hiss.

Canon, Panasonic and Sony cameras all have distinct firrmware. I used the hacked gh2 for a couple years. Try checking out adorama. The Panasonic GH3if you've been looking to buy one, has firmwqre out of stock many places pretty consistently.
